Founded in 1990 by Serge and Bruno Jacques, Deflex began as a fiberglass subcontractor operating out of a rented garage. The bulk of their work was manufacturing deflectors for all-terrain vehicles, hence the name Deflex. In the fall of 1995, they built a 3,600 sq. ft. plant. Business has been booming ever since. Today, Deflex now operates out of a 30,000 sq. ft. work space. Thanks to their extensive knowledge of fiberglass and manufacturing, Serge and Bruno offer clients high-quality parts with a better-than-average price-quality ratio. 

Serge became the sole owner in 2014 and began preparations to introduce new technologies that would reduce production costs, boost the plant's productivity, and increase product quality. In 2016, his children joined him, becoming co-owners of the company. Barely one year later, Deflex Composite expanded into the US, founding a new company called Deflex Innovations Inc.
